My favorite Christmas memory has to do with a wrap-around skirt. I still own that skirt, and I love the memories that come to mind when I see it. Ask your loved one with dementia what their favorite Christmas memories are. I am going to make Christmas gift giving easier for you. Here is a gift list. Don't overdo! If you are tired at the beginning, you will be exhausted when it is all over. Take care of YOU! Will it be a Norman Rockwell Christmas? No, it will not! You are not Norman Rockwell! We all have "those people" in our world. They have a tendency to make our life difficult. The same is true for your loved one! What did you eat at Thanksgiving? Did you make healthy choices? |
