Today my goal is to make you giggle (maybe a few times)! Thanksgiving is over. What were YOU thankful for? Conversation starters for Thanksgiving. They will help make Thanksgiving more inclusive for your loved one with dementia. Make sure those attending the Thanksgiving event know how things are going with your loved one BEFORE they arrive. Don't expect so much from your loved one at Thanksgiving. You are not Norman Rockwell! My first tip for a successful Thanksgiving with your loved one. Being grateful changes how your brain works! And those changes are all for the better! |
