Did you read the Grimm Fairy Tales as a child? Maybe you read them to your child or your grandchild. Those stories are scary. We need to give consideration to what we expose our children to, what we expose ourselves to, and what we expose our loved ones with dementia to. Stress can often result, and stress is not our friend!
Phobias are defined as an overwhelming and debilitating fear of an object, place, situation,
feeling or animal. Phobias can cause stress that is harmful to our bodies. Today we will talk about a few phobias you may never have heard of. No matter how hard I try or how much I want, I will not push that wall down. Arguing with your folks with dementia is much the same. You will not be successful!
